Gaafu Alifu and Gaafu Dhaalu is one large natural atoll devided into two for easier administration. Gaafu Alifu is the northern part of the atoll. Domestic airport of Kooddoo is th easiest access by air, Kooddo is located between Maamendhoo and Vilingili.
